Mitsubishi Power Completes JAC Gas Turbine Assembly In Saudi Arabia

Dammam (PlantAndEquipment.com) - Mitsubishi Power has assembled its first JAC gas turbine in Saudi Arabia at the Dammam Assembly Facility, marking a milestone in its 60-year partnership with the Kingdom.

The inauguration, attended by senior Saudi and Japanese officials, underscores Mitsubishi Power’s role in advancing local energy capabilities and industrial growth.

The high-efficiency M501JAC turbine will be supplied to the 475 MW Amiral Cogeneration Plant in Jubail, serving the Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) complex.

The project highlights the Dammam facility’s growing role in localisation and energy innovation.

Through its Saudi National Program, Mitsubishi Power continues to develop national talent and support Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative’s goals for sustainable energy and self-reliance.
