Hitachi Makes Fleet Management Easier

Hitachi customers can now access all the information they need from different brands of equipment in a single fleet management system. This makes it easier to manage their machines more effectively, saving them time and money on the job site and in service operations.

This is thanks to the introduction of an application programming interface (API). It enables the telematics systems of different brands of construction equipment to communicate, acting like a digital go-between.

“We’re continually making improvements to enhance our customers’ experiences when using Hitachi construction equipment,” says Onayemi Onabiyi. “We recognise that some customers have more than one brand of machinery, and this new API is designed to make life easier for them. It allows them to access all the data they need quickly and easily in one system, such as Global e-Service.”
